There are a few Santa Maria Novella shops in Florence. We came here. It is smaller than the others, but it was less crowded. The service was super friendly. I tried everything. She never showed any signs of fatigue. I appreciated that. I got the Firenze 1221 Edition Rosa Gardenia 2-Piece Wax Tablet Set. The scent is fantastic. I placed this in my daughter's closet. I absolutely love its sophisticated scent. In addition, I bought Rosa Gardenia perfume. It is just elegant. We can get it even in the U.S. or order from their website. Buying them in Italy is much cheaper than buying them in the U.S.

Yet another fabulous experience with the lovely sales staff at this iconic boutique, the products have always been amazing, and the service level amazing, it was busy on our recent visit, however we were made to feel welcome and as soon as someone was available they helped us with our purchases, I adore my new candle and love these products!

Exclusive, fragrant, floral. Perfumes beautifully displayed, smiling saleswomen. Expensive but worth it. You can also find soaps, home fragrances. And delicious elixirs, e.g. the legendary rose elixir. There is also a fantastic room with music and flower projection. I recommend it, traditional Florence in a beautiful, fragrant setting.

As a tourist, I wanted to visit the original perfumery, but since many other tourists upload photos without specifying the branch, it's confusing. This is NOT the original pharmacy; it's just a retail outlet. My husband and I arrived Sunday afternoon, and there was a sign on the door saying she'd be back in 5 minutes. We were there for almost 10 minutes, and the saleswoman didn't return. The strange thing is that during that time, at least five other people arrived looking for the original perfumery, and when the saleswoman finally arrived, she just said, "Train station! Train station!" when we asked for directions to where we actually wanted to go. This place has the brand's products, but not the "museum" many of us were looking for. The lady working there was super nice and friendly. We took forever choosing our perfumes because they all smelled amazing, and she was so patient and knowledgeable. She was also incredibly sweet with my dog, which made the experience even better. Unfortunately, we didn’t get her name, but she truly made our visit memorable. Definitely recommend stopping by!
